Junior Rep Trials

This form should be completed by a parent/carer together with the player registering to attend the junior representative player selection trials on Sunday February 2 and Saturday February 8.

It is a significant privilege to be selected to wear the red and green colours to represent Redlands Touch Association at the Junior State Cup. Since our inception, 58 Redlands' players and referees have progressed to represent their country on the international stage. It all starts at juniors.

With the privilege of wearing the red and green colours comes a responsibility to act appropriately. Parents and players are expected to support your club, support your team and hold yourself accountable for your behaviour on and off the field.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to play for Redlands in junior representative you MUST have been registered to a team in our junior or senior competition playing at Redlands Touch Association either in season 2, 2024 or season 1, 2025. If you were not, unfortunately you are unable to participate in selection trials.

PLAYER MOVEMENT BETWEEN TEAM LEVELS: My child and I understand that team selections are NOT final. Player movement may occur between red, green and white teams based on a variety of factors including player training attendance, player attitude and team requirements. *

When you wear the red and green uniform, you are first and foremost representing Redlands Touch. In everything we do, we put the interests of “Our Club” first. “Our Team” is of great importance and always comes ahead of the individual. Outstanding players and supporters understand and appreciate the importance of Our Club and Our Team coming before “Self”. *

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: I understand that upon team announcements in February, an immediate $100 non-refundable deposit is payable to secure the position. The balance of the junior representative levy will be payable in early March. *

JUNIOR STATE CUP: I am aware that the 2025 Junior State Cup is in Rockhampton. *

COMPULSORY PARENT VOLUNTEER TIME: Since we were established in 1978, Redlands Touch has been a volunteer based, not for profit association. One parent per junior representative player will be required to volunteer a small amount of time at either our Arthur Davis Cup carnival on Sunday May 25 or at the Queensland Primary All Schools Touch Championships from Friday October 31 to Sunday November 2, 2025. *
